The POC of NAPILION sodium-ion starter batteries has been an incredible success. Through comprehensive testing of our sodium-ion starter batteries, they have gained a deep appreciation for the advantages of sodium-ion battery chemistry, thereby strengthening their confidence in the market for sodium-ion starter batteries.

When used as start-stop batteries, they exhibit a coulombic efficiency (discharge capacity/charge capacity) approaching 100% - significantly higher than that of AGM batteries. Furthermore, sodium-ion batteries are inherently resistant to damage from over-discharge; even if discharged to 0V and stored for 6–12 months, they do not experience any abnormal capacity degradation (beyond standard calendar aging).

The heated version of NAPILION sodium-ion starter battery is specifically designed for clients in regions that experience severe winter cold. By simply setting their daily vehicle usage schedule via the App, clients can have the battery automatically initiate a pre-heating function, effectively ensuring their vehicle remains ready for use throughout the cold winter months.

NAPILION sodium-ion starter batteries have a cycle life of up to 2,000 cycles—four times that of AGM batteries (500 cycles). When used in start-stop applications, they deliver an average fuel saving of 3%–5%. The fuel costs saved over the battery's service life are sufficient to cover its initial purchase cost.
